2024 – The first batch of the SDG GoGlocal (IUSD) Master’s thesis research group final thesis defence took place on 11 October

2024 – SDG GoGlocal team from NUST and USTUTT attended the African urbanism Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa from the 23rd-26th Oct.

2024 – Recently, DAPC staff attended the African Urbanisms Conference, 23rd-27th Oct 2024. Staff presented on-going teaching and research under the Session 22: Unlearning the known: Developing Future Capacities for Informal settlement upgrading.

2024 – Currently underway, the World Urban Forum (WUF). SDG GoGlocal project represented – Translocal and transdisciplinary teaching and research to ground the SDG’s through integrated urban development. Presenting information about the collaboration and the current masters students factsheets.

2024 – 6th Nov 2024, Prof Mohamed Salheen (ASU) and Ms Tapwia Maruza (NHAG/SDFN) will represent the SDG GoGlocal Project at WUF, Session: Learning from community voices, universities and knowledge processes: Experiencces across Africa.
